New Location, New Speakers & Our Biggest Event to Date…

the word 2014

The Word festival is back and this year it’s bigger than ever.  Previous festivals have had fantastic feedback from all the attendees and it’s become a firm fixture in the diary for many Lancashire writers.
The Word is truly unique.  It’s not a literary festival!  It’s a day about writing, created for writers by writers – with some of the best writers from across the county and beyond as guest speakers.
The Word festival is non-profit making and all proceeds from ticket sales are used to fund the event.

WHEN’s it being held?

Saturday 20 September 2014 – 9.15am – 5pm.

The Arts Theatre at the New Continental in Preston. South Meadow Lane, Preston, Lancashire PR1 8JP.   Location Map –> http://www.newcontinental.net/find-us
